JANUARY 2005: I gather up all my courage and resign from my first permanent job, without having the prospect of anything new.

FEBRUARY 2005: I don’t understand why she is here with me. They must have had a fight. Her lips taste like bubblegum.

FEBRUARY 2005: In a cramped hotel room in Bytom I try rather nervously to prepare for the show and realise that I am about to fulfil all my greatest dreams.

MARCH 2005: When I console my flatmate, we start kissing intimately.

JUNE 2005: I watch «Walk the Line». I discover Johnny Cash and the southern spirit. I find out he's just died two years before. I'm frustrated.

JUNE 2005: Late at night I walk to our flat from the Petrogradskaya Metro station and it is still light. I don't know how I will have enough money but I have decided to spend a second year in Russia.

SEPTEMBER 2005: On September 9, I land in Berlin Schönefeld and I feel free. It is warm and I don´t understand a word of German. I have to figure out how to get to Theodor-Heuss-Platz.

SEPTEMBER 2005: My third wedding: This is the right one at last, the most lovely man in the world. We are very happy together.

SEPTEMBER 2005: My second child, a son, is sick and dies after one year. I fall into a deep hole. And I'm tired, never-endingly tired.

OCTOBER 2005: I move in with my great love into the first flat of our own. I can see us growing old together.

OCTOBER 2005: I am finally allowed to park my car in the stork parking place. Kateřina has been born.

NOVEMBER 2005: My wife tells me she is pregnant again. I can't contain my happiness.
