JUNE 1990: We move to the countryside. Here I have to address my friends' parents formally and do, say and wear the right things.

JULY 1992: My godfather dies of AIDS.

NOVEMBER 1997: I spend a year on an exchange in the USA while my family breaks up. My father and brother move out before I return.

AUGUST 2000: I complete school and fall in love with D. – though I am going out with T. and D. is going out with J. We spend almost a year in this complex tangle of love affairs.

JANUARY 2001: My uncle kills himself.

APRIL 2001: I start circus school in Berlin. I don't know anyone there and I am freezing.

SEPTEMBER 2004: Finally I have found what suits me: I start studying socio-cultural animation.

DECEMBER 2004: I fall in love with a woman for the first time and everything becomes confusing.

OCTOBER 2006: My flatmates and I give our first concert in our neighbours' cellar bar and it is well received.

AUGUST 2012: The tests the specialist makes reveal that my boyfriend and I will have great difficulty having children.
